Hi folks,
got a suspension rattle from front left going over bumps/potholes etc or even rougher bits of road..
Had a look last week, ball joint and anti roll drop link rubbers were away so replaced those, also replaced rear wishbone bush that was away.
So the low knocking you'd expect from the ball joint and wishbone bush has gone but there's still a higher pitched rattle (a bit like you might expect from the anti roll drop link) only I've replaced the drop link! I've checked everything else and it looks fine.
Any suggestions?? I'm thinking maybe strut mount?
Can it cause a 'rattle' rather than a knock?? My past experience is that strut mounts is more of a knock over big potholes etc rather than a rattle over little rough bits of road. Also in past I've heard that's where is was from, ths one not sure other than front left! Any ideas folks??
Thanks.
PS replaced parts with OEM from Euro because some parts were done not that long ago with cheaper parts and the rubbers were all away.... so the new parts should all be fine (and fitted properly myself too..)
