Hi,

As most of you know i'm looking for an Ibiza.

I would like one with a few mods, most have remaps, and a few other good bits, most don't have uprated suspension.

Now i've not looked on any websites as i don't know where to look!

But what kits are available and at what price as i would like to start pricing up what i will need.

I've been in an Ibiza with the H+R Cup Kit and thought that was perfect, handled a lot better, and wasn't too low but low enough! Are these still available? Where from and how much?

I'm not looking for top spec ££££'s coilovers, just a good kit which doesn't cost the earth that will improve the handling with a nice drop.

What do you guys have / reccomend?

*Sorry to hijack*

How does the H & R kit compare to the standard suspension on a cupra?

Im wanting to lower my car at somepoint but I dont want to sacrifice the ride quality. ie - I dont wanna break my back going over speedbumps.

Ideally want it to be as smooth as it is now but lower

When i went in an ibiza with the kit it felt just as smooth, the standard suspension is fairly harsh compared to other standard car, but there is no where near as much body roll and the ride height is perfect, now i know i can get the H+R Kit, thats what i'll go for!

Wasnt impressed with the H+R kit at all, been in two of them and thought they were really crashy and a harsh ride. Happy with mine, FK Silverline although a little harsh and i do rate Bilstein PSS9 as well. Both are 500 quid plus.

TBH i've never heard a bad reveiw about the H+R kit. And TBH i would like to do other things with the money i have, and spending £500+ just on suspension the PSS9 kit being near £1000 is just out of my budget unfortunately! But for the money i would expect them to be better than the H+R kit!

running fk's on mine work a treat cant really commenet on H and R's as never been in a cupra with them on. but if you lookin to save few quid then y not

So how much are the FK's? I thought FK's were cheap! but over £500 is quite alot imo. Especially as i'll be using it for an everyday car not a track car!

Davidol and stantheman both had H+R's, i'm sure they'll tell you its a harsh as hell ride. But for the money you cant really get much else.

Btw, theres a PSS9 kit for sale in the for sale section.

iv got kw coil overs and they are brillant cant fault them nice ride great handing and fulling height adjustable there a bit on the expensive side at about £685 but i think they were worth the extra money
