Swap my black dials for your white ones?

Just won these on the 'bay for £23
only on 22k miles aswell - shame i'm only swapping the dials eh?

Someone added some blue LED's to the red years back when they took the clocks out and I always thought it looked pretty ........I'll see if I can find it

Did they solder them in place of the red ones? I've seen a few cars that have the Golf "blue" look to them.

They look cool, but then with the red stiching in the LCR interior I have, having all the red instruments (and W8 interior light when i can be bothered) keeps a 'theme' going, i think.

No in addition....just wondered if you had seen it....it's a blue and red ambient glow (as your car is blue and you have red stitching etc )

Ah, I see now.

That does look quite special don't it? It kind of creates an ambient effect around the clocks!

I'll have a read of that write up and see if I can manage the fiddly bits, If so, watch this space!

TBH, i only bought the white clocks to match the boost guage I got, but i do think they brighten up the idrivers's side interior a bit, especially when EVERYTHING else is black in there.
