Swap Side Repeaters and Bulb Holders

I want to add some smoked side repeaters to my Cupra TDi as this model seems to have different bulb holders to the standard I will have to change those aswell.

Is it a case of cut the old ones and connect the wires on the new bulb holders.

The oe version wiring is:
- Brown
- Black/White

The new version wiring is:
- Green
- Brown

Is it as simple as:
- Brown to Brown
- Black/White to Green

Was ok, but one bulb holder was faulty so had to get another one, but all fitted with smoked side repeaters now
