when using swirl remover can you just use SR3 and then go to polish or do you have to go down the grades to SR1 and then polish. Also when using the machine can you just keep going till you can see all of the swirls dissapear or just go down the grades. New to this game of machine polishing and did a search before you all flame me, Thanks a lot.

By SR3 I am assuming you mean Poorboys SSR3?

You can just use SSR3 to correct the paint however to get a sharper finish you have to refine the cut. Imagine it like different grades of sandpaper to get the smoothest finish possible you start with a low grit then go to a higher grit to get the smoothness. Same applies to machine polishing.

To answer your question yes you can go SSR3 then polish. However you probably dont need to use SSR3. I would go SSR2 first.

best bet mate is to do a test patch. There is no point going straight to sr3 if you dont need it same with pads. Use lower pad and cutting agent and if no luck then harder cut, then change pads if need be.

Hope this helps
