T-FSi Chrome tailpipes

Have tried to get Offical Chrome tailpipe surrounds for my T-FSi but the dealer tells me that they only fit the diesel and the FSI.

I have seen a thread on here and i think someone mentioned having one from Halfords (done a search but cant find it ).

Does anyone know where i can get the trim and what size i need?

Hi Rob,

I have a TFSI with official chrome tailpipe surrounds, they were fitted by an offical Seat dealer, so your dealer must be mistaken.
The part number is 1P1 072 000A, however on the offical seat site it states that it is for tdi and fsi, but it fits fine on the TFSI.

I got the original Seat Twin-tailpipe for my TFSI aswell! - Try and talk with your dealer once again... there must be something he had misunderstood!

Great stuff thanks very much guys will give the dealer a call this morning. Pick up the car Sat Will post some pics, looking forward to seeing it on the 18" alloys.

Just called the garage none instock and none at the 'store' so i'll have to wait £50 as well

I just purchase two stainless steel pipes from a local shop, cost me £15, see picture below

Just make sure you get stainless steel trims, I purchase 2 standard steel ones which started to rust in a couple of weeks but £15 is better than £50, and looks just as good

Mmmmmm, I just went in to buy a T-FSi, but ended up paying almost £20K for a Leon must admit it is an excellent car....

Cheers Stuart, i'll have a look round try to get them cheaper. Your Sat Nav makes a massive difference to the dash, looking really good.

That was one of the reasons I had it, apart from the it's real use... I think it fills the dash more than the standard radio setup. less bare dash.
