No worries on talking on my thread about it lads, all good :)

I didn't even know of the Creation one's when I bought the Forge hoses... Certainly not cheap I agree 8bit.

I think they're fairly new on the market tbh, I read about them in JamJay's thread shortly before he decided to sell up and get the Beemer. I have the charge pipe to N75 and DV hoses from them too, they weren't a particularly great fit either, a touch too short for comfort on my old THS TIP if I remember.

I guess all silicon hoses are created equal, just some are more equal than others... :)

true mate new TIP should help with that  picking wheels up on thursday ;)

Awesome matey, can't wait to see the wheels! Lots of pics please ;)

2000th comment that is all

Lol jeeezzzz :D Was only meant to be a few subtle mods to an LCR 2 years ago and now look haha :)

Ah I see. I've not really looked into the creation hoses much at all matey.

I did want to get some Forge hoses like the charge pipe to dv one but they're so bloody expensive and we don't get sc10 discount code anymore I believe :(

The Creation ones would do fine I guess, just might need to push the TIP towards the block a tiny bit if they are on the short side. Certainly not as problematic as the upper boost hoses anyway.

That said though, you could just get two lengths of regular reinforced silicone hose, one with ID 8mm and one with ID 25mm, that would be much cheaper than Forge or Creations ones?

Very true matey, my only problem is that I'm a sucker for red Forge hose's

I have no plans to buy these ones yet, got other big areas to work on 1st. But when I do I may dig up your idea there bud :)

Right quite a bit done today been a great weekend LCR wise... And yesterday I spent most of the day fitting a 3" TIP to my mates standard LCR, removing the standard TIP was a right PITA! Anyway got there in the end and he's a happy chappy.

So today was the turn for my LCR and it was pretty much allday spent on it!

Started with the N249... It has always been bypassed but I wanted the whole thing removed. See the pics..

N249 removed but metal plates above coilpacks still in place, these got removed also.

I need to get a resistor for this N249 connection as the N249 fault code has come up but the car runs the same it's just because it's disconnected.

Work in progress..

Darren popped round with more carbon that he's been working on for me :D Really pleased with the results.

Just leave the N249 plugged in and hide it somewhere, thats what I did.

edit - under the charge pipe, to the left of the red forge pipe. You can just make it out:

My sidelight stopped working and also my rear tailight, same side (passenger) so I swapped the tailights and still the same side didn't work. So I thought fuse? Sure enough it was...

Fuse 23 was dead and I managed to get down to Halfords just as they were closing and they gave me one for free! Sweeeet. Lights all back on! :) Was worrying that my new LED sidelights were giving up already..

Nice one mate I have tucked it somewhere can't remember exactly where but it's not flapping about now lol.

Do you get the fault code at all?

No mate because the valves still plugged in :)

Sorry mate should have concentrated when I read your post! So did you remove the actual N249 from all the pipework? Might do this Wednesday as it would save buying a resistor :)

good stuff mate, I'm guessing your getting the AMD intercooler. I'm considering gettin a new one, but really need to get my car running 100% before I spend more on mods :(

:)

Well if the AmD one matches up to my expectations I probably will take that route but I'm waiting to see it all once released. If not I'm getting the Forge big race regardless of cost.

I know mate I tell myself that aswell, but sometimes mods on these help sort things out ha ha :)

This forum is bad for my wallet.... I might James...

Depends on what the AmD one is like... I can sell my TX to help fund whatever new one I get so even though the big race is £700+ I can knock a bit off plus will fit it myself with a hand probs.
