Brake update

Package arrived yesterday while at work.. 3 day turnaround from Camskill, really impressed with speed of service, price and how well packaged up it all was

EBC Ultimax discs.
Ferodo DS2500 pads.
Motul RBF660 fluid x2.

Dave at Sere also sent out free engine cover screws and the like as I lost mine lol..
The guy is a legend. Just cannot find enough customer service of this quality

Never done brakes and have asked a couple of people to either help me out or just do them, lol.

Haha, I wasn't around when they turned up. But yeah it caught me out earlier this morning!!

Brakes are easy mate, just the bleeding back up and double checking everything lol.

They will look great behind the polished faces

Yeah all I know is the bleeding will be the trickiest part...

The black on the discs will go soon as I get it on the road and hit the brakes lol... Not sure why they come like that tbh mate.

Might be an anti corrosion thing, either get a eezibleeder or fit the brake yourself and get a garage to vac bleed them. You'll be fine get those hands greasy mate!

The blacks just to protect the discs. It also looks better once they on parts that dont wear down get rusty and crappy. I paint mine when I get new discs

No mate I haven't, lol. Meant to speak to my mate this weekend try get it booked in for early next week, his garage is only up the road and I get mates rates... Driven the car once in the last week it's really not a rush. My enthusiasm seems to have dropped lately.

And yeah, even after Brands I've just not got the urge to go buy the new bits it needs just now. Brakes are bought just going to enjoy it over the summer now and crack on again around Autumn..

I get like that at times dude, especially lately where I am 'saving' for other things. But after brands I have had a bit of a spending spree so lets see how things turn out. Get those brakes on and enjoy. We can go for a few blasts soon. We need to do those drive by videos
