Amazing example of a stunning LCR mate. You should be very proud of her. One day mine will be this good.lol

Cheers Jamie!! :D

Means alot seeing these kind of comments after the time, money and effort that's gone into the car since I bought her.

Just striving to improve the base LCR in every way I can until I'm happy with it.

You wont be really happy until BT, you know it really

I very much doubt that will happen with this car Ronin. Too much money really mate.

A solid stage 2 car will do me fine for a couple more years at least I think. When this car sings it's very quick indeed. Just needs the rest of the handling mods sorted, brake overhaul and this stupid knock sensor replaced.

Originally i had the same plan as you but was open minded about going BT but cost dependant.
Ended up getting the whole kit for less than what just the turbo should cost and thought if i buy this im not getting rid anytime soon
Also the knowledge gained from whats been done and what is going to be done too you cant buy

I was planning on the R32 FARB but I want to match up Eibach rear with Eibach front... Also heard the bushes you get with the R32 FARB's aren't as good as Eibach's or Neuspeed's as they aren't poly?

Just thought I'd post mate. If you buy the R32 FARB you dont have to get the bushes from VW you can get poly bushes from somewhere like AMD to suite the ARB, you'll still be saving money:

Golf R32 Anti Roll Bar 1J0 411 305AF
Bushes x2 1J0 411 314 T
Clamps x2 1J0 411 336D
Bolts x2 N101 016 03

Just dont order the bushes;)

I'm dribbling over the wheels still mate haha.

You been on the motorway in another car to see them rolling? When we did Germany my mates filmed my GTA and the polished rims moving looked immense!!

Agree with he R32 FARB if your changing aswel.

I watched Darren drive it up his road and it looked sweet with the face of the polished spokes hitting the light and reflecting... Looked so mint. And the wheels were dirty then :)

I might get my Dad to drive it up the road and back later, NO FURTHER lol... so I can maybe film it while the wheels look spankingly clean!!

I'll decide on the FARB in a month or so. Just weighing up whether I can afford to get it done at the same time as the full Superpro bushkit...

Tom and Darren, i am defo going to leave my car at tom's now. It looks lovely. Shame on me for letting mine get so grubby.

Haha!! I'll honestly do it if you leave it on the drive one day mate - when mine isn't on there though ;)

Your letting the side down mate :D
I went past yours at the weekend, your new wheels look very nice mate [B)]

Are these the same rims as I have seen? Highly polished one's?
I do like the way his car sits! Looks real good :)

I don't think that's what I saw on it? But they could well be..

I drove past his car and didn't have a proper look!

He needs to pop along again soon! :)

Like I said, save £100 by getting the R32 bar over the Eibach, and a little more by not getting the VW bushes, that'll go towards your Superpro bushes and you get a slightly stiffer front bar to boot ;)

Thanks Darren, Tom. Yeah they are the Porsche BBS RSII's with polished rims. Rims need a re polish. Taking them off for the winter soon though, so back to the battered RS6 reps.

Polished, no lacquer just lots of sealant, although that hasn't stopped them misting up. Once they are off the car i will give them a good buff with my mops/polish. Really not keen on running them in the winter!
