Ha ha, it's a bad time of the year for the roads mate! Looking like it's going to warm up to nearly double digits by the end of the week so I think I'll be giving the car a good clean :)

Oooh, let me know how the dye goes mate! Put some pics up after please.

Will do mate, I need to get my motor cleaned up the back end of the week in readiness for my shiney refurbed wheels :D

Tom, consider resetting the ECU depending on how long you've had a broken MAF, the ECU learns to be cr@p if that's what the MAF has been telling it. A reset will allow the ECU to make its own mind up again :).

Need to get this done to mine too.

LED lights look real good mate. Still haven't fitted mine (lazy ass I know). If I don't like the ones I have got I will be getting these instead

Cheers mate :) They are pretty bright...Not really blue like my last one's but then I'm not too fussed about that, just want them bright and reliable.

I left mine around 30mins and then reconnected. Just take off the negative battery terminal, that's all buuut take great care when tightening the terminal bolts, they are weak and if you snap one the only way to get a new one from SEAT/AUDI/VW is to buy a whole new negative battery terminal harness which is £40ish, as I found out. I ran off to the scrap yard and luckily managed to find one on an old Ford Escort which uses the same size bolt.

Great, thanks for confirming and the info mate. Did you notice a difference after doing the reset?

Oooh looking forward to the refurb mate :)

In other news..... my SFS 3" tip has arrived at AmD today.

Also paid for something else this morning... ;)

Could barely look at the car earlier it's an absolute state! Needs a good clean :(

It felt a little more willing to go and less choked at WOT but remember my N75 was dying at the same time so full effects weren't really noticed. After both were replaced I reset the ECU before driving it again so I had no comparison but it went like a rocket afterwards, at least this way the ECU learns from fresh the correct readings it should be receiving.

Daz is good, very good :)

Looking forward to getting this on and sorting my bay out this season.

They look great Tom. Darren really does have this down to fine art doesn't he! I'm in the process of doing mine at the min. The Carbon Mods kit is a great bit of kit.

Thanks James :)

Daz certainly does... I went round his today and saw how he was getting on and it's going to look sweet. Hope your carbon work goes well matey!

Bushes perhaps?

Nope ;) But they are in the pipeline 100%...

Car looked good today Tom. Everything sorted?

Cheers mate, was good to catchup today. Although my car was filthy! Hoping to give her a clean tomorrow.

Yeah everything got sorted, the guys didn't let me down. Pretty pleased!

Thanks for taking me out in the 335D too. Awesome car, simply brilliant piece of engineering. The torque has given me a slight neck ache ;)

See you there in a couple of weeks.
