Very nice Tom, I knew you would be pleased with it. Good work by Rob @ Supercar.

Thanks matey. :)

Yes very pleased! It's transformed the car. It is so so smooth to touch ha ha..

Rob did very well, but I expect nothing less of him if I'm honest.

Looks fantastic mate, looks like another to do has been added to all of our lists ;)

Cheers buddy :D

NICE!! Jealous much!!

Cheers mate :D

Get yours detailed!!

Awesome car and awesome pics. Oh and that Silver one isn't too bad in your pics either ;)

That silver one is actually very very mint and seems to get better everytime I see it. Really is a credit to Darren and the work he puts into the car.

Loving the pictures under the tree! Both cars are looking bang tidy!

Close to sorting the plan of action for getting the wheels done now too mate, watch this space for the new look of my LCR.

Wheel refurb and colour booked in :D

So, as the title suggests, today I booked my car in to have the alloys refurbed and coloured to a new flavour ;)

This will be happening next week at Lepsons and I'm sure I'm going to be happy with the results. Chris down there is a top guy and was very good over the phone earlier today.

I'm focusing on getting the car upto scratch on the outside now. After this, the Brembo's will be re-done to offset the new colour of the wheels, and with the car detailed and kept tip top, it should look the nuts. In theory!

..Then after that, I'm having the front and rear bumper taken off, resprayed, chips sorted out, big scratch on the rear (which is faint now after the detail) sorted out, and also a slight ding on the right of the front bumper taken out. Ontop of that, while the car is in the bodyshop (a recommendation of Rob's) any dings around the rest of the bodywork will be corrected and taken out. Rob states his contact is a genius with dents and will not stop until they are gone. He is to dents, what Rob is to detailing, a genius!

For anyone interested, the car is still looking mint after the detail despite a return trip to Gatwick and back last night to pick up my parents. I'm so happy with it.

I was talking to Rob earlier and he said my LCR has opened his eyes up to a brand he hadn't really given much thought to before. He is big on BMW's and like's his Audi's (not to mention his Porsche GT3 RS) but he's stated he could do LCR's allday long, and said there a joy to work with. Everyone can see the results are stunning. For anyone reading this wanting a detail to perfection in the Southern area, I would seriously consider Rob at Supercar Detailing! http://supercardetailing.com/

I really have been blown away with the results.

:)

Been down to Lepsons: http://www.lepsons.com/ this morning to choose my colour for my wheel refurb.

Put a test wheel up against my car in the car park and I'm going to be a happy little boy once this is done! :p lol.

Going for a wet look anthra shade and the name they have for it down there is 'Carswet or Cars Wet' - I'm not sure how it's written down. But I loved it! Looks just right for the car and the guy down there who talked me through it all was really helpful and positive to what's best for my car. Top bloke!

So I just need to drop the car at Rob's later, get the wheels off and the car on axle stands till Friday and the wheels should be back and looking [B)]

Then it's Brembo refurb time later on this month...

Pics up at the weekend!!!

Nah I'm sure they will come out great dude. How long are they taking to do it all?

They are picking them up from Rob's by Brands' tomorrow and should be returned to Rob to be refit on Friday.

Was dead impressed with them down there. Top blokes and Rob did rate them highly so expecting good things.

Ive used Lepsons twice now and had fantastic reults both times

1st time I had my Escort Cossie wheels refurbed before I put them on mt Fiesta Rs and they came back perfect. even better that they would have been new. the straightened the wheels so well to the fact they needed very minimal wheel weights when the stretch tyres went on :)

second time were the Rs7 spokes fitted to my GF's Focus St170. These were originally on my fiesta and were Diamond cut. they were in such a bad state that they were very close to scrap. They were cracked and badly buclkled. I gave them to Lepsons and they also came back brand new. I honestly thought they were a different set of wheels lol.

You wont be Disapointed mate

Great to hear another member has used them before and been pleased with the results! :D

Sounds like they've served you very well. I was impressed with them today.

However, bad news guys.... the car never got dropped off today and the unit where it was going to be left all week due to unforeseen circumstances.. So I cancelled the wheel refurb this week and need to sort out another time to book it up.
