Car is looking awesome as usual Tom
Funny how enthusiasm for projects dies and comes back isn't it? One minute you neglect it then the next you can't wait to do more to it. I think you have to be fairly impulsive to do all this
I've decided to keep the alfa, booking it in for a major service this week (£700 odd!) and then going to fit my spoiler and make the exhaust even louder lol. All I needed to change my mind was a blast down an A road in the sun and the windows down.
Get it finished up it'll be a cracker when it's done!
Cheers Tom!
Good to see your still sticking around the forum by the way!
It really is all about how other things are going in your life at the time and then when things are going good again you just get an urge to sort it out and get the motivation back for it. Recently joined my gym again, might have something to do with the positive approach now? I dunno!
The Alfa looks smart matey! That major service is about £620 more than I pay for mine through a friend

Sorry to say that!!
Got any videos of the exhaust mate? Bet she sounds lovely!
Yeah I intend to finish it matey. Got to be done now. If I can get the bushes booked in the end of this month it'll be well on the way to being complete. Once polybushes are in, it's pretty much sorted for it's life (for aslong as I have her)... Could be many years yet if I'm impressed with the change in the car coming up.
Great car,and great thread! I know what you mean love for your car cos I am back in love with mine after cleaning it over weekend Just silly bits what get in the way Keep up the top work tho!
Cheers mate! I try to update the thread as much as possible to reflect it's life really! Sad but that's what these threads are for and for it to have some sort of profile that one day someone can check out who may want to buy the car. I had an offer on it earlier in the year via this forum, so it can't be a half bad thread hey, lol..
I find giving the car is a real good way of loving a car again. Dirty = neglected look! And it's not about that anymore. She's getting the treatment now, otherwise I may aswell sell onto someone who will finish it. Which I just couldn't bare to watch happen!
Your car will be amazing with the poly bushes, new front and rear arb. Mine's fantastic, holds the road so well now. I've got the 23mm R32 and the Neuspeed 25mm set on stiffest. I recommend my setup but there is plenty of options out there.
Looking forward to seeing where you go with this now and no you cant leave it half finished, its good to see one of the best kept LCR's on here will be staying for a while longer
Cheers bud! I hope it is amazing with the new bushes and ARBs. Brakes will be after that then clutch, then 4 new tyres most likely to really test out the handling.
I'll be going the same setup mate. R32 FARB and Neuspeed 25mm RARB. This has always been my plan since I sat down and looked at the stage 2 target and the handling mods to match.
Thanks for the kind words though

means alot mate. I see so many nice other LCR's on here so it's nice to get these sort of comments! I must return one back though and say how much your car has come along in a short space of time. Just looking at the spec list is pretty impressive! She's a minter alright! It's always nice to look back at the car standard etc when you bought it and then look at pics/current spec of how it is now. You then realise just what you've put in and spent but when you put that right foot down you know it's all worth it!
I have a good feeling about these bushes/ARBs and the result which should confirm my intention to keep it for years to come yet.
Good to see the love is back mate. I know the feeling your going through, I too am trying to save for property and the car gets pushed back but then a little blast changes all that and brings back the smiles
Cheers bud. It was there all along I just needed to maybe clean it? Lol. It is hard trying to save for other things but I might take a break from it and finish the car, like literally plow money into it to get it complete. Then in theory she's sorted for years and years to come as I don't drive her everyday things like brakes and tyres just won't wear out as quick. Bushes will never need doing again either. Loads of things actually, just thought the Milltek has a lifetime warranty so it should be pretty wired by the time I can call it a finished project!
Yours looks superb now by the way mate. The stance is just spot on! Looks evil as hell! Haha.
