The convoy of LCR's looked good last night, seeing your platnium grey one Tom makes me miss mine a little as i do still have a soft spot for the MK1 LCR. Shame about the unwanted attention tho lol

Haha, gotta love a platinum Brad ;)

Do you know the whereabouts of yours these days?

Change of plans..

Right, I've decided that brakes are more important than knock sensors and bushes lol.. so I'm eyeing up my brake setup and where to get it all from..

Spoken to a couple of people buying near enough the same setup and Camskill seem the best on price and very quick delivery (as proven in El's case :) )

So I'm looking for the following:

-Front EBC Ultimax Grooved discs
-Front Ferodo DS2500 pads
-Motul RBF660 fluid (x2)

If anyone knows somewhere cheaper AND reliably quick with delivery, let me know ;)

Should be ordering it all up in about 4 weeks aka payday.

I would have loved to get the knock sensor and bushes/FARB done, but I think stopping the car is a bigger priority... the setup on the front is standard and nearly 2 years old! I don't do many miles and they are really showing their age now.

I would go for ATE PowerDiscs t0m. Everything else is good.

Can't go wrong with DS2500's mate.

Can't comment on the rest but I have standard discs and they stop very very well especially as they're bedded in now.

Platinum and red is my favourite colour mate ;)
I've heard it's floating around Herne bay and the thanet way area from a couple of people

How much mate?

Same set up I have at the min there ok far better than standard

Anything is better than my current setup.. I can't put my foot down as much as I'd like at times because I feel like she won't stop in time for the corners, lol...

Motul RBF660 fluid (x2) You just doing front Tom? if so you might just get away with just the one bottle
cos I have only ordered 1 bottle just for my fronts

Is this right? How much does everyone else order for their setups??

Oi there mine :D

So your doing it then mate ;)

Glad your happy with them mate. I'm really thinking ds2500's and the turbo grooved EBC's with the fluid. OEM rears can get done a month or so later, lol.

Cheers for the feedback :)

I do enjoy a mint red LCR aswell! Was going to get one if I couldn't get hold of the right Platinum when I was shopping around.

+1 for DS2500's i have a free set waiting to go on, still ponding with disc's to go for.

Whats up with you Knock sensors?

Have you spoke to Bill? I'm getting the grooved discs as they aid to clean the pad and won't glaze over so easily, this is what I've heard.. My mate runs this setup on his stage 2 LCR and is very happy with it so I'm going to give this setup a go :)

On the knock sensor, one of them is faulty...

Knock sensor 2 on the block.. No.1 is ok but 2 keeps popping up on vagcom scans, be it intermittent one's and the car feels rough when this fault is up. Clear it and it's a different car, i.e the animal it should be.

I'll get it done eventually, but my brakes are a bigger priority, especially with the winter starting to settle in now.

Hope your car is all good Robbie?

Tidying her up.

Done a couple of things today, not much just a some Billet goodies! Small bits, but as most of you know, the small mods make all the difference as with the theme of the car.

Suppose with a week off work it's time to do some stuff to the car!

Got to take my rents' to Gatwick at 4am Saturday morning, so going to clean the car once I'm back. Was tempted today, but it'll just have to stay filthy for another day or so..

Dislike! :( lol.
