Was a good day and super results you got mate happy for you! Brad really misses his now haha

As always dude keep the work up, amazing car and amazing figures :)

Which model Porsche are the caps for, they are very nice :)

I need to take mine to AMD For a rolling road!

You should do mate, it's a good thing to do if you want to know if your car is running to what it should be or want a base to work from.

Try attend the next AmD RR day if you can, will usually be later in the year like October time. :)

Agreed mate was a top day, real big turn out! Cheers :D I wasn't expecting that much power but was confident it would make more than last year. Think the k04 is maxed out now, lol..

Brad needs to get back on the petrol scene!!

Great catch up mate, your car really was ripping it up today. Awesome drive up there ;)

Yeah awesome day mate, as usual some great banter with yourself and the others!

Cheers, it was a good drive up, loads of fun with the traction control off in the wet..

Cant grumble with them figures mate, was a great day. Good to finally meet up aswell :)

Haha, true true mate, I can't... :)

Was good to meet up and put another face to a name. Car looked mint mate. I stand by my comments that it's one of the nicest on here.

Bloody good result mate sounds awesome :)

Cheers Ben :) Is a bit vocal now haha..

I will do... Lots of work planned for the rest of the year to keep the project going. I'm happy now as the power is there, it's smooth and just how I want it, so I can focus on the other areas of the car now which need work.

The Porsche caps are from the 911, can't remember if my contact said they are the Turbo one's or not but either way they look great and I can't wait to get them this week :D

Cheers mate, makes the hassle worth it. To be honest D.Ks was always the benchmark for mine and I think I'm getting there now so I'm happy:D

Love your car, its certainly setting the standard for K04s at the minute. Top job.

Get that N249 valve tucked away aswell.

Good results there tom, i think you may now hold the crown of most powerful K04 LCR ever.
Torque is very too maybe looking into rods soon??

Fantastic results tom. I couldn't make it today due to having a sore head from a party last night, but good news is mine goes into AMD in 2 weeks for stage 2 and a red sfs tip. If I get figures anywhere near yours il be happy chappy.

Oh and ignore the haters :)

He does have a benchmark LCR for sure mate, it's a good one to try keep up with because then yours will be a high standard.... and yours certainly is! I really loved it. It's a shame there is now 300 miles between us lot and you up North. Definitely getting there matey, keep it up as yours is a benchmark for many new LCR owners to look upto IMO.

Thanks mate, power wise I'd say she doesn't have much more to give lol. And the map is very smooth so I'm dead chuffed. The handling will be sorted by the end of the season. Loads to do yet :)

I'll sort the n249 this weekend when I'm using my car again, lol...

Cheers mate :) I'm not sure if that's true but she's up there for sure.. Not much more to give though and I don't want more power now either. Finishing the handling is the summer work...

Rods may get done later in the year, but for now I'll follow the same process since last Jan when she made 330.7 lb/ft - warm up and cool down correctly while being smooth with the fast road driving. My map is very smooth too. If I do get worried I can always get the boost turned down at AmD.

Thanks matey :) Shame you couldn't pop along, but from texting DK this morning, he reckons 60+ cars were there! I'm sure there will be another one later in the year, so remember to get your stage 2 car down for that ;) Enjoy the TIP mate, it's a great piece of kit. My car loves it, spools quicker and the results are there for all to see....

Haters' gona hate! Lol..

TBH mate after last year I learned one thing - ignore the doubters and haters, only care about what YOUR car is doing and how happy YOU are with it. I really couldn't give a monkeys what people say about figures/rollers anymore. I use the same one's for my car and use that as the benchmark for improvements and to see if things have worked or not.... so far it has gone to plan and without sounding big headed, I like to think I know what's what to get the max out of a stage 2 LCR on stock k04 now... It's not purely bolt on mods... It's tlc and choosing the right parts when servicing and then if you really want the biggest performance, using decent fuel (v-power).

It all comes together eventually as the graph shows :)

Awesome results mate....well done ;)

Thanks mate :)

mental 309 bhp from ko4!! rods soon dude?

Haha, I know... :)

Rods maybe later in the year.... I'm not too worried about them at the moment.

awesome car mate and some awesome power by the looks of it :O :p cant wait to get mine to AMD for a map :) sounds nice in the vids aswell

Cheers mate :)

The power is awesome! Goes like a train on the motorway, really pulls hard and smooth. Also sounds how I want it too now aswell :)

You won't be disappointed with the AmD map. Give me a shout if you want any more info or advice etc.. Happy to help.

nice colour scheme there h7 cya! :p

Shame it's not platinum........

:)

Well done mate, looks like you had a good day

Cheers mate! Was a great day really. The weather didn't put a damper on it either.

Hoping your big turbo beast makes the next one!

How did you find out my secret? Damn you!

Great results Tom, pleased to see that your getting positive results for the effort you put into her. By constantly checking the progress of your build against the same dyno your one of only a few who has a genuine history of what works and what doesn't which is independant and irelevant to the dyno's accuracy. There were some serious LCR competition on the day and to show them a clean pair of heals is testament to your mods. Next time i'll try and make it up or maybe awesome gti in the summer :).
You've given me confidence to try the FSI coils mod as up until now i've been dubvious but your results show they are certainly doing the business.
I recon wmi would complement your setup nicely at the moment and would cool things down a little and Tom get some rods asap ;).

Cheers for the comments Willy :D

Spot on with regards to mod changes and then benchmarking it using the same rollers. I feel quite lucky AmD are only 20mins away from me. Without them my car would 100% not be what it is today. They know the car very well now and always ask me about it and what's next. Shaun (Hollamby) who runs it there was dead impressed with what it put out and how smooth the delivery was yesterday.

Would be good to meet up if possible over the coming season mate, who knows where we may end up around the country. I haven't booked into any other shows at the moment, but know of a few including GTI International that I might attend..

On the FSI coils - I hate to disappoint you but I don't run them! RDS (Richard) does though. My coilpacks are the original LCR coils! Never been changed. Amazing considering the power she is at now and the tuning she's gone through since I got her 2 years ago.

I may look into wmi one day but I doubt it anytime soon. Bit like the rods, lol... I can manage the car just fine until my wallet wants to manage the cost of rods

Few random pics from the RR day... there is others flying around so will put them in here as and when I get them.

Not sure how the silver shed got in there :p
