I'd like to get a double din console and fit the liquid gauge and oil temp/pressure gauge either side of it in one of the din slots. Only problem is how blood expensive a double din consol is! It's a though fo down the line though.

Yeah double din aren't cheap. That would be a good setup too though.

I am leaning towards the Innovate OT-2 over the liquid gauge at the moment.

Hey Tom,

I've done a bit more reading surrounding Logworks. It seems that their software reviews aren't great, although it's a free App. The main problems is that there hasn't been any updates. An Alternative is DashCommand - OBD-II software (by Palmer Performance Engineering). It costs 34.99 through the Apple App Store, and the reviews and features are excellent.

So, you'd just need an OBD-II wireless module (rather than Bluetooth which appears to be less reliable in maintaining a connection). I looked on eBay, and boom!!!

So, for 62.00 plus 4.99 postage, you have a full system. Great combo reviews. Interesting hey! For that money, I'm probably going to take the plung :)

Cheers for the posts guys, really helpful to weigh up what to do.

The ebay wifi OBD2 dongle is very very appealing and then just a case of getting the Dash Command app on my iphone. It's obviously a much cheaper option than the Innovate and a liquid gauge.

I might take the plunge and buy both for around £60

James L - I won't use jailbreak on my iphone 5 it's not that old.

A couple of weeks has passed since the last post and I haven't bought anything! :wtf:

Or have I....... :p

Got something coming which will freshen the car up a bit in the next 4-5 days which I'm looking forward to getting fitted.

Also going back to my car's 2nd home aka AmD to get the coilovers raised a bit, as it's rubbing on the splitter too often for my liking now. Will get it re aligned on the hunter system while it's there too.

I've got my eye on plenty of little mods but this one I've got coming wasn't even on my to do list. Ooops.. :)

It wasn't done after the gearbox was dropped out for all the recent work so it needs doing as my mate advised me.

My mates garage don't have as good a machine aswell as AmD to do alignment and it's been spot on when done there so I will get two birds with one stone done but cheers anyway mate.
