Wasn't sure if the Forge 008 had had an uprated piston like the 007's do, but I emailed Kris @ Forge last week and asked about it, and I've got a package at home from them so will check it out when I get in.

Good service from Forge for free of charge!

I emailed then on tues about the 007 and said I was having problems poss related to the valve but took a few emails explaining to get the kit in the end! Good service from them but I think they kno that the original piston in the 007 was a bit of a design flop! Like I said tho can't fault the service iv got a service kit on the way off them.

Yeah, seems like they've revised it to stop any leak issues (I believe) but I've never really had a problem with my 007 I used to run. My 008 now holds boost very well, defo better than the 007 did and it's more responsive too I've found.

Still, I'll check it out when I get home to see if they've uprated the 008 one too.

They've always been good with customer service whenever I've dealt with them in the past.

Yellow spring in the 008. No shims. Never tried them tbh. Holds boost very well so didn't want to tamper with it really.

Maybe one day, lol.

Do a bubble test before and after replacing the valve. It's the only way you can tell if they leak.

Got my FOC service kit through for the 008p from Forge. Can't remember if my current piston is just like this one, but will find out at the weekend when I take it apart and fit it.

I didn't get mine today! Hopefull it will come tomorrow , looks different than the one in my 007 but again its a different valve

Do you have a 008 or 007? With the DV relocated I can take the 008 right out in no time now. Will do this so I can do a leak test on it before and after..
