Tapped wire under passenger pilar

Hi All,
I have a Seat Leon Cupra 290 2020 plate, and this morning I just noticed a taped wire hanging from behind the front left passenger pillar plastic cover. It looks like it was cut and taped but it was not put under the plastic properly. Would someone shine a light and tell me the purpose of that wire? Little speaker is connected and works fine and everything electric in the car seems ok.
For more details please take a look at the pictures attached.
A bit of background, I brought the car for a service last Thursday and today I just noticed the wire hanging from where the windscreen and the pillar plastic connect. The plastic was previously sitting flush but now it is warped.
Thank you for your help
Bruno.

Are you able to trace where the other end of the wire goes to? Does it go into the fuse box?

If the car had a previous owner, then could it be that wire was a dashcam supply feed that was cut rather than removed by the previous owner when they sold the car. Most owners when installing a front facing dashcam route the cables from the fuse box and up behind the A pillar trim to conceal them.

Good point SRGTD - thanks. I checked the fuse box, first time since I bought the car (10 months ago), and there is a red wire (with two fuses) which looks like it is not from factory. The one that comes out from the A pillar is black but I would not be surprised if somewhere in between the two (black and red) are joined. Putting the plastic trim back was a tricky job (it is slightly warped which is another telltale sign that someone has already been there) , and I only checked the fuse box after I already put the trim back :/ . Otherwise I would have checked for continuity with a multi meter. Car is second hand and I am the second owner. Wire was well hidden and maybe mechanics checked the fuse box and tried to trace it but never told me anything. I will reach out to them just in case.

Looks like a dashcam power supply to me. My car has the exact same wire. My dashcam was fitted by Halfords.
