Tavascan, octopus intelligent and ohme pro issues.

Hi all,

Hoping someone here can help before I lose my mind.

I’ve got a Cupra Tavascan and an Ohme Pro charger, set up on the Octopus Intelligent tariff.

Everything seems to work initially — I’ve connected the Ohme app to Octopus, it updates the schedule correctly, and charging starts as expected.

But then, I get a notification from the Cupra app saying that charging has stopped and it couldn’t be completed. The car just won’t continue charging.

I’m starting the charge using the Ohme app.

What am I missing here? Has anyone else run into this?

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

On pretty much every charging "issue" I deal with, the customer is using Octopus energy.

Oh interesting to know...

I actually signed up to OVO and 2 days later found out they are discontinuing support for Ohme charger.....

Any suggestions on a fix for this?

Thanks

There do seem to be some issues around how the car and app work out. If you read around the threads the solution seems to be you do it in the cars screen if that makes sense... ofcourse they could have fixed it now. People have moaned about the charge not finishing on Octopus.

I'd read across the Born, Tavascan then hybrid models then check what others are saying on the Vag brand. I'm keeping an eye of charging posts but don't have an EV.
