TDI 184 Project - help please

Hi everyone,


I'm new here and in fact I'm new to Seat ownership too. It is a red 5 door Leon FR Tech TDI 184 6 speed man and it is remapped to circa 220 bhp w/ 450 nm which is more than enough.

Ultimately, my plan is to give the Leon great handling. To start with I would like to strip out the interior (to a certain extent) such as rear seats, rear carpet & replace front seats with lightweight racing seats.

Has anyone gone down this route with the mk3 yet?

How you finding the 184 with the remap, what's the torque like? Going to be getting mine done at the start of March hopefully

The torque is fantastic! Its the torque that interested me the most. The speed really catches you by surprise when you look down at the speedo

What sort of costs where involved, and what did it do to the mpg?

£200 for remap and MPG is still same. I do circa 300 motorway miles per week plus several short journeys and my economy per tank is still around 55 MPG. I usually will have a few bursts of spirited driving throughout the week so the economy can certainly be improved
