tdi fr steering wheel adjustment

Hi everyone

Sorry for my first post being such a seemingly daft question. I'm going to look at a 2004 Ibiza tdi fr on Saturday. I've just re-read the advert and noticed that it doesn't mention reach adjustment of the steering wheel, only rake. Does the car have reach and rake adjustment?

Yes, my wife sport 130 (53plate) does, and that was the predesessor of the fr. I think all mk4 ibizas do have both reach and rake. Definitely on an fr though.

I've got a 03 130 sport too. When I drop the lever, the steering wheels swivels up and down but does not come in and out.

How is the reach adjustment done? Am I being stupid (probably)?

I have the same car - it has reach and rake on the steering wheel.

If it's been in the same place for a long time it might just be stuck - you should just be able to push or pull the wheel towards or away from the dashboard.

I have the 2005 Tdi FR - my wheel only goes up and down - not in and out?!?
