Not quite right to be honest mate, as the 06 plate in red has yes done half the milage but the PD engines are good for circa 200k! Why pay ALOT more for what in the long-term is nothing more than a few miles on a engine that will doing 1000% more!
Also, not only is the black facelift £1300 cheaper, it also has already had some very expensive things done to it, to impove over stock (unlike the dealer FR)
If I add up the bits that have been added (roughly)
- Forge FMIC = £500
- PD 160 intake = £20
- Derv Doctor Map = £300
- Green Cotton Air Filter = £20
- Cruise Control (Fitted by JBS) = £250
- Mufflerectomy = £100
- Tinted Windows = £150
- 312mm Brakes = £300
- FK Coilovers = £600
= £2240!
So, not only is it £1300 cheaper, but its also had the best part over just over £2,200 spent on upgrading parts in its lifetime... meaning the double milage really wouldnt matter, as the brakes will be newer, the suspension will be newer, it will be faster, sound better, and cruise better
All for alot less, simply by not going to a dealer!
For people who say "well mods dont add to the price when you come to sell" yes that is very much true, but if your a user on here, and you purchase a standard Ibiza FR TDi, it wont be long before you start modding it to the spec that car already has! Which will then cost you 2k++
As the guy is selling it on here, i'd hope that means its been well looked after, and treated with respect, as per the add, only selling it due to a company car, so doesnt need it anymore!
The real question is, why havnt you rang the guy already and gone for a look!

Why abit more warrenty? At 18 you can get Loans at rates which more than likely beat finance!
Just another option for you of course, saves you getting the modding bug and spending out if you get one thats pre-modeed

Personally I'd wait till March when the new reg comes out should be more around and older ones should come down in price.

Insurance companies don't like young drivers, let alone when they're driving round with mods!

Ive just bought a 56 plate red facelift FR Tdi for £9500 with 9k miles from arnold clark. They do pre reg stuff for 11,688 too.........

Depends on the insurer, alot of people argue (mostly Cupra owners
) that its cheaper to get the Cupra, than get the FR and mod it with the above items...Of course what they dont tell you is,
A. Its still more than likely going to be cheaper if you look around for specialist insurance
B. The FR with said mods will be ALOT faster. FACT.
Now this post isnt here to slate Cupra's as again, said work done to a Cupra and bye bye FR!
As for getting commision for selling Cheb's FR TDi, I think you will find im promoting it alot more
