good work mate, and good on ya for getting stuck in on just axle stands. Im gonna go neuspeed rear ARB in the spring, how did you find the fitting. ok for a novice?

just reading through comments about tyres and i can also vouch for the yoki paradas. excellent grip in the dry far better than the pirellis i had on before. I cant comment on wear as yet though as theyve only been on about 1000 miles if that. Lovely looking tread pattern too!

Good work mate! Looks like we both got stuck into our plat grey lcr's this weekend, lol..

Your car is coming along very nicely indeed.

Looking forward to the custom exhaust update in this thread one day soon ;)

Thank you very much gentlemen :D

@h7 cya The Neuspeed rear ARB is very straight forward even for the novice of novice i.e. me. It comes with instructions which are straight forward to follow. The only bit which will be a pain is undoing the old bolts. One of mine was a right pig to do but with a little bit of persuasion it came off

Where did you buy your Neuspeed rear ARB mate? I heard Awesome GTi are cheapest

That's who I got it from mate. Managed to get in there when they were doing the group buy so saved a few ££££ great piece of kit I must say, can't wait to test it out fully

Annoying I missed out on the group buy mate, doh!
I'll probably get mine from there to be honest, seems cheapest at the moment.

I really want to order both ARBs and strut braces now, plus get all the bushes done (full kit)...

Reading your thread is bad for my wallet lol.

Lol reading any thread is bad for our wallets, being on this forum as a whole is bad for our wallets but hey it's got to be done ;)

Another update as I have just got back indoors and out of the cold. I fitted my boost gauge a while ago however never connected the electrics so the light would not come on. All done now, connected up and I am absolutely loving my gauge. I would take some pics but I can't take a decent pic of it.

I have the Blitz Mirror Drive (carbon face) gauge so when the car is off it's basically a mirror. Turn the car on and the lights kick in and looks so sweet. I have it fitted to a nomad pillar pod in the 60mm fitment. The vacuum hose is firmly hidden in the bay as that's how I wanted it.

I also thought it was about time I looked at me brake sensor as I know it has been a bit temperamental. I purchased a replacement from Seat a while back but only had time to look at it today. Took the whole bottom panel off under the steering wheel and took out the sensor only to find that the replacement Seat gave me is different and will not fit...................doh. I gave the old one a good clean and test fitted it back and all seems to be working fine. Going to leave it for now until it gives me hassle and then I will change it, hopefully with the right part

Blitz Mirror Drive Boost Gauge

Here are a couple of pics.............as best I can do. The mirror effect means it is a pig to take pics of but very clear when driving

This is what it looks like when the car is off:

This is what it looks like all switched on:

Thanks guys, have to say it is an expensive gauge and getting the others are crazy expensive. Would like to get two more: Oil Pressure & Oil Temperature but then I will need about £350-£400 to get them :ban: If I do get those I am thinking of making a custom pod for the middle air vents and placing them there

Great job with the car mate.

How you finding the handling/ride quality on those springs?
I'm not sure what to go for lowering wise yet. Have you got any more pics since its settled down?

Sorry for being a pain :D

EL can you bring it round my house ? I want to see if you can get over the speed bump's before I lower mine :D

Darren I was going to ask to bring it to yours to compare the height difference. Had a bit of a chin wag with kw/weitec as the front doesnt see to have dropped as I expected. It seems a lot better now compared to when first fitted though which is a relief. Speeds bumps are no problem whatsoever, even those which were a pain are fine. Guess it's to do with the stiffer springs the front of the car isn't dropping as much on braking

I'll be about next weekend, give a clean first and we'll take some picture's ;)
