Long long long day. Got home and skint thanks to a combination of work on the car and the shopping spree at Lakeside shopping centre due to boredom lol
Great service from the AmD guys again. Feel like a bit of a vibrator at the moment but only at standstill which will calm down after some driving. Thanks to the rain it's 3rd and 4th gear wheelspins so can't test it properly yet. Feels a lot smoother on bumps that's for sure and all those annoying noises and creaks have gone.
Looking forward to properly testing it out soon

Even on my cruise home I can already agree with you on that mate. Much tighter car now on normal driving around town and no annoying creaks or knocks etc.
After a roper track day blast I will be able to say what improvement it has done to the handling side of things
My new tractor stance. Love it. Just drove down a road where it kept scraping before however now it is spot on. Also it actually feels smoother over the bumps now the bushes have been done

Only playing, looks a decent height now that for handling. Wouldn't mind seeing how this drives now bud. I am getting fed up of scraping down off kerbs etc on the odd occasion.
That's why I did it Tom. Heard I have family coming over so now I can fit them all in the car lol
I will see how I get on at this height. Still looks smart and I shouldn't get stuck in car parks as much

Cheers mate. Yeah seems we are James. Hopefully with new wheels and 235/40 tyres I will fill the arches more and at the same time it will raise the car a bit more. No more belly rubbing unless it's at brands

To be honest I haven't had a chance to properly test them still
Need to get it back on track to give it another bashing to really give my opinion on them. I have no doubt the car will be much better with less body roll helping me to turn in quicker but without actually doing it I am saving my verdict on these bad boys
Another trip to Darren's (DK) yesterday where he resprayed my front calipers again and we fitted the new splitter. OEM splitter will be painted when the car is in the body shop and the new splitter will most likely get a lick of paint also. Top work from Daz once again. Some pics on how it is sitting at the moment:

Had I not raised the car recently it would definitely be rubbing everywhere. Told Darren he's going to have to raise his car before putting his splitter on. Can't wait to get it finished up and looking how I want it. Project clean has finally started
Not the best of luck lately with the car. We all go through these moments when things decide to bite us in the ass and you get seriously annoyed with the car as a whole and think about selling it or even burning it.
Before I got the bushes done I started getting a lot of noises around the suspension area. Got the car on the ramps and noticed my CV boot decided to take a run for it meaning the CV joint ran dry and started knocking. This was fixed the same time all the bushes were getting done.
Whilst driving the other day I went over a speed bump and heard a loud clunking sound which then my steering went out of alignment with plenty of vibration through the steer wheel. The tracking is fine as the car goes in a straight line when you let go of the steering wheel but in order to go straight the steering wheel needs to be turned to the left. It may be down to the CV joint running dry and more damage being caused but not sure at this point. The traction control light also came on and when I scanned the car I got the following error code come up:

After whining away like a little b1tch I decided to man up and get the car sorted instead of getting annoyed with it and looking at alternative cars to splash out on. I have booked the car in a local garage who has done other work on the car to see what is going on with the above issue. Whilst there it will be getting a few other bits done also:
That's the list for now, car is booked in for the 15th so will add to the list if needs be. The way I see it, these cars are awesome fun when they are running right so I might as well get these sorted and continue enjoying the car. Plus the car owes me plenty more track time

- Clutch inspection - want to know why the clutch vibrates so much when crawling in first gear. If you launch the car it's fine and all other gears are fine, only in first when crawling in traffic I get a lot of irritating vibration
- New radiator - current one is leaking
- Chain gasket is being replaced - it's where my oil leak is coming from
- New calliper springs - when reversing I get a whining noise which is due to these wearing out
That's the list for now, car is booked in for the 15th so will add to the list if needs be. The way I see it, these cars are awesome fun when they are running right so I might as well get these sorted and continue enjoying the car. Plus the car owes me plenty more track time
Everyone needs a vent time to time mate and you'll feel so much better, then you realise how little these cars are worth and its better to stick at it
As for the problems you have, the ESP fault has flagged as intermittent so could be a one off.
The LCR sensor in the column are all longitudinal and lateral sensors in one unit and about £300
The clutch issue almost sounds like a dog bone vibration
Do you have the awesome clutch setup or OE
