Terramar Start/Stop system not consistently working

I have a new Cupra Terramara with 1.200 kl and the start and stop system may work 3-4 times in the morning the then shutss off until next morning. is that normal. I do highway trips twice a week.

Stop/Start is conditional on the battery having a good state of charge as the starter motor is quite energy hungry - if the battery is depleted then Stop/Start doesn't work.

In addition to battery state of charge, there are a number of other factors that can influence the operation of stop / start. @Phoebus - maybe worth checking out your owner’s manual under ‘Start-Stop system’ which provides a comprehensive list of those factors.

my 2.0 tsi dose not activate as much as 21reg audi Q5 use to but it also had when you took foot off accelerater engine would stop till you put foot back
on the pedal
