The brochure shows a difference between the V1 and V2 from “Lane Assist” to “Assisted Lane Assist”. However, I can’t for the life of me get to the bottom of what the latter adds (and it’s not in the manual). Some YouTube videos seem to suggest it’s the ability to have the car change lanes for you when indicating but mine doesn’t and advice of Facebook forums is varied to say the least.

The difference between these two variants of lane assist is that the former does not keep the car at the center of the lane, intervenes *only* when the car veers from the center & gets too close to the lane markers either side; but the latter tries to keep you at the center of the lane at all times.
