Thanks. Thats interesting because in the brochure it has the same description as my V2 for that feature. Do you mind me asking, do you know the build date or at least the rough time of purchase?

Cheers,

By the way, did you by any chance see this thread where someone else had asked about the same thing and we talked about driver assistance packages offered by Cupra in different sizes ?

Thanks. Yes I did see that post. The brochure extracts I’ve copied do say it’s on the V2 and I can’t see the assistance packages shown anywhere on any Cupra literature.

That's one of the'features' that gets turned off every time I start the car....
Likewise.

Along with the stop/start system and auto handbrake & adaptive cruise control (both off permanently) - I will occasionally use the speed limiter.

I like to drive my car; not have the car drive me. :-k. :-k

Just a quick update on this issue. Car was in the dealership for another issue and I got them to look into this. Service manager says car does have autonomous level 2 driving and assisted lane change is a feature. They’ve checked their internal system to confirm. They are looking into why it doesn’t seem to operate on mine.

Hi Guys. I have a Terramar PHEV, I have Lane Assist like it was mentioned above, but not Advanced Lane Assist. I didn't purchased the Navigation feature, could this be related? As i understand, the car has anyway GPS and some light maps to identify the main roads but not detailed ones. Thanks

On the menu on the tablet the settings are limited to "Lane Assist" and there is nothing related to "Travel Assist" on any other page / menu, but when pressing the button on the steeringwheel i can activate the "Travel Assist" - by default it was selected ACC. I have tested briefly this morning - it keeps the middle of the lane, breaks if you turn on the signal and it detects an intersection ahead, it ask you to keep the hands on the steeringwheel, it turns the car if there is a curve ahead, etc. - i didn't knew this feature. I have read somewhere that the changing the lane is available on higer speed on highway - i'll test.

Keeping the center of the lane, and dependently, following the curve were features of Lane Assist once. In later models, they shifted them to Travel Assist and now cars which don't have the Travel Assist have only Lane Departure Warning, meaning no staying at the center/no curve following.

It's the same for hands-on-the-steering-wheel warning. In the past, if you had the Lane Departure with or without the centering, and it's turned on, it would warn you about your hands. Now you have it only if you have Travel Assist.

Intersection detection is something else though. It's part of the feature called "Predictive ACC", which is a FeC-controlled & licensed feature and having Travel Assist doesn't mean having the Predictive ACC automatically.

Attached are screen prints from the Cupra website here-https://www.cupraofficial.co.uk/new-cars/terramar/technology

You can click on the version of car in the top menu. The V2 (my version) shows assisted lane changes and also shows augmented reality heads up display but mine has neither. I’m currently pursuing it with Cupra customer service.

My supplying dealer confirmed on my test drive that the V2 had semi autonomous driving which included assisted lane changes activated over a set speed on multi lane roads by tapping the indicator stalk so it would change lanes itself.
