TFSI hesitation/missfires at high rpm's

The issue has never been resolved Rob.
The final verdict was oil consumption. The oil is passing the rings, being washed off the cylinder walls by the fuel, lowering the octane rating of the mixture and causing knock. The ecu is picking up the knock and retarding timing.
This has never been proved but only a bottom end rebuild will give the answer and im not putting any more money into the engine.
Its running a 200hp map now and it runs fine with no timing pull
The car spent 2 days at JBS and they could not find anything else wrong with it.
