Hello, I wonder if anyone can help me, i have a seat leon tfsi with k04 turbo and wanting to change the injectors to the s3 ones. I have it all stripped down but cant access the mounting bolt at the bottom the dipstick is in the way. (already snapped due to pulling too hard).

Is it possible to remove the bolt thread at the top with the 2 nut trick?.

Does anyone have any ideas?.

Thank you

Thanks Paul, the dipstick cracked at the top and halfway down what a nightmare. I found the turbocharger easier than this horrible.

So theres no way to remove the top thread?.

Much appreciated your help...

Hi Paul,

Does the hole dipstick come away from the base or is it bolted somewhere?

pretty much where that bolt it holding the manifold on is where t dipstick comes away i just pulled really had! its a pig of a job to do injectors as i know so well as i also did it !

10 mm spline? - This is necessary for the bolt that holds the bracket to the intake manifold, underneath the intake (without it, it is almost impossible to remove).

Cheers paul for the help, got to try and remove the bottom half as it has snapped at that point and removal is going to be even harder.

I forgot to ask paul if the metal bottom half can be removed too or just the orange plastic surround.

And thanks again for all your help.

Simon

Hi Dave

Do you think i will be able to remove the other plastic half at the base?.

Thank you

Simon

Thanks Paul and thanks Dave for the great help, i managed it all in the end what a job never again. Had to remove the throttle body as the bottom manifold support bolt would not line up. On and on the bad luck until Yeeee Haaaa!!!!! FINISHED....

Thanks again simon

While the manifold is off you should swap the fuel pressure return valve or the RS4 one

It's not expensive, the deerest bit is ussually labour as its a swine to get to but seeing as the manifold is off...

It will helP cure the 5200rpm flat spot

It will help but not cure...And yes removed the intake manifold today...my god it was coke'd up...(over 80k on the car)...wasn't impressed - spend almost a day trying to clear the gunk up...

Removing the Spline bolt (was a pita!, pipes in the way...) annoying

Also converted from the old style banjo bolt to the new bamboo bolt on the fuel pump (internals replaced)

Hi Dave, mine was glogged up too but only has 43,000 miles on the clock so just give mine a quick clean with carb cleaner... worked ok...

Does anybody know much about remaps as i have asked regarding purchasing a file for the new k04 and injectors, but they will not do it and say it needs to be on a rolling road..

I thought maybe they would of put something like a golf edition 30 map on ran the car for a few days and then altered the map to suit.

Any help would be appreciated

Simon
