The common, Wind noise! 2007 ibiza fr.

So i know this is well documented but after abit of searching and reading, i've found no fix for this...

alot of the results seem to be from 2006 and just consist of people replying saying "i get this noise as well!"

but noone can fix it... I came across a thread that mentiond a recall type fix from seat, part number "5P0 857 939 A" sounded like a piece of foam or somthing to fit behind the wing mirror but it wasnt clear so im not sure.


So to summarise, had anybody on here fixed this annoying problem?

Often caused by the window frame not quite lining up flush enough. Put the window down, open the door, grab the top of the window frame/door from the inside and pull towards you to bend it slightly in. Use your knee etc to create some leverage against the bottom half of the door. Worked a treat for me!

Getting heko wind deflectors helped mine quite a lot, although not perfect it has drastically reduced and I can barely notice it sometimes.
