It is a good step up.

Once I get the car I'm straight off to drive to take some glourious pictures and then drive around eveywhere!!

I wanna stay out late and test the lights and everything.

 Dont blame you. Wait until you see the funky checks that the lights go through when you turn them on, very cool [B)]

No worries, its fully charged. Taking it with me, plenty of opportunity for scenic photos on the way back too.

Barnsley back to Stockport will be fun too , so I can either go Holme Moss or Woodhead pass or come back via the Snake pass. :cam: :cam:

Whilst in Barnsley it would be a shame not to take full advantage of the new Cupra and drive it over to a fellow SCN'er's house for a quick go.....

Not sure, not picking it up until Saturday. I've said i'll get down there for mid-morning on Saturday.

They are getting it registered and taxed at the moment. But its also having a few accessories fitted and a Tracker too.

But sadly can't get the time away from work this week to pick it up Friday, too many deadlines to meet. :(

Go on then, you don't have to ask. I'll gladly pick it up for you on Friday and deliver it to your door. ;)

Seriously though do Ted's do the tracker themselves or is it 3rd-party? And are you their first Cupra customer?

I was thinking of getting a tracker, can you point me in the right direction?

Clicky

Ted Johnson SEAT have fitted mine.

I've gone for the Tracker Horizon system, which is the GPS based system

£474.00(fully fitted) then add the subscription of £325 which covers it for 3 years.

Its a fair amount of money, but so is losing my car.

Not sure if they fit it themselves or bring in a specialist. I asked them if they supplied and fitted them, and they said they do.

Not sure if I am their first, i think I was certainly the first to order one with them, back in November. :) But not sure if they've sold any others to customers in the meantime.

I've had to wait a while for mine, as it was a factory build, as i ticked most of the boxes.

It's just I saw a new yellow Cupra in (Barnsley) town last week which didn't look like it had Ted J's number plates. Didn't think Ted's had a demonstrator either so must have been a customer car from somewhere else. Even the missus had to admit it looked mint and that "we should definitely think about getting one".

Saturday can't come soon enough. The end of my long 4 month period of having no car. But its been worth it to do without a car for a while, saved loads so my Cupra got more extra bits. ;)

So come on then, spill the beans, we saw Syphon's shopping list a few weeks back, what else are you going for aside from the tracker?:)

That's a nice shopping list :)

What Non-Seat parts are on the shopping (read; modding) list then? ;)

Nothing for a little while at least. I just want to get some miles on it and consider my options. [B)]

Though i might buy the Alpine Double DIN headunit. But i have some speakers I want to put in it anyway for the meantime.

You make me look poor with your list. to be honest I do not need the ipod connection, the rear airbags did not cross my mind and I am not sure if I like the bodykit.

I suppose the arm rest could be added at a later date?? I did not even know that was a dealer option and I am thinking it may be a good purchase. Got the floor mats, convenience pack and bluetooth.

But I also want to put in a double din head unit asap, that will be my first purchase. I want satnav on it which will bump up the price, will probably go alpine or pioneer.
