WOOOOOOT. A guy from Ek's was dropping off an invoice at the house we were working at, as he gave it to us he said "Fook me they're big brakes" and i was all like "it needs them, ABF nigger!" :p

Like 2 cm of space there!

EDIT: It wont let me post more than 10 images, see next post for final image

So!

I didnt need spacers in the end. BUT i had to get rid of the weights(it was that close!), so my wheels are un balanced. Im swapping over to the super t's tommorow, ill start a new thread on that.

How much?
Its cost about £450 fitted. including everything! ( not the super t's)

Ive only come home, havent really tested them. The brake warning light came on on the way home. I just looked in the handbook, then topped up the brake fluid.

Any questions n00bs?

I was going to release that info in my wheel thread. But i was going to go black, but that was before i found the seat sport wheels. So its red now. And im going to find some red paint to put "OZ RACING" and "SEAT SPORT" on the wheel too.

I might have to change to EBC red stuff pads sooner than i thought if the green pads on it clashes with the red...

Won't be using EBC reds again in a hurry, they've munched 2 sets of discs so i'm giving DS2500 a try when the new brakes go on.

DS2500..... mmmmm I'm running them and haven't had them cook on me once. Had a track day and they didn't fail me once then, even had them smoking at one point and they still didn't fade :)

Fair shout mate ive been waiting to see this! They'l look quality behind the super t's. Was it hard changing over the brake lines? Let us know how much better they feel compared the the last ones mate

OH NOES!!!!

WE have big problem. So the standard ibiza lines were too short. The tt ones were too long. WE fit the tt ones anyway. But after the 7 miles or so i did last night the wheel has eaten through abit of the brake line!!! So it was braking, but not good(there was a puddle of brake fluid when i got in this morning, and it was losing it on the way home last night SCARY!). The car will be off the road for the weekend as Audi parts dep. and Ek's are now closed till monday morning. Im hoping they will have them instock at audi then dan can pick them up on monday come round, make some kind of bracket for the excess line and bo ya, we are good.

i could look at braided hoses too i guess...

£51.77

if standard lines are anything near that ill go with the goodridge and wait a few days for them to arrive. 7-10 daysfor them is abit excessive....

Any ideas folks?

clamps?

sounds like you've properly bodged it? get new copper lines made up, and secure the brake lines (so they move still) before driving it again

parts won't be x/s at the dealer, but will only be next day delivery

there's no part number for it - you buy it from motor factors in a pre cut length with the unions already on them
