Don't get me wrong, it is good but its a brand new car so it should be really!
Get a 4 yr old car with swirls and stone chips, and bring that back to the same standards and then you can see a detailer earn their money.

lol at this point i'll mention Simons Herald and my mates 94 BMW - that's more fun in my view, taking something that's properly knackered and making it nice again ..... spending all that time on a brand new car is bordering on anal retention :)

Sorry for the pea roast then guys.

I agree about it being a bit anal, but it does show how good the guys are at their job, but yeah a nice 15 yr old + car would be better.

Still impressive though ;)

That's a sweet car, mines just been sprayed and when i get the buffer onto it it's gonna look sweet, maybe not that shiny though seeing as it's a new car.

then it pissed it down with rain

LoL. That's the exact reason I'd never get my car detailed... all that money, time and effort and then you hit a big muddy puddle and it's all over.

I do like to give it a good clean when I can though. :)

Thing is though after a good detail the car still looks great in the rain :D

Ive got into detailing recently and all the hard work does pay off

Detailing is not designed to "clean" your car, thats something you do on a regular basis (or not). Detailing is something which removes all of the imperfections from your cars paint, so that it looks like new, or better, and that when you do clean and polish it you wont have loads of swirl marks in the clearcoat. Its a lot more than just a polish.

Have a look at some of these:
