Just a quick note to say Porsche ones do fit into the original hole with a bit of force.
They aim a touch high, but you can stick a wedge 1mm thick at the rear of the jet & it sorts it.

Oh & have wired mine up so there heated to.

Cost about £13 each.

Cheers.

Well done mate. What have you wired them into? Have you cut into an existing wire, or is there a simple "plug and play" way of doing it?
We need pics too!

Hi, I don't get on here much nowadays, but I searched the subject & read this thread.
I work with Porsche, but I didn't think they would fit, so I had a good look around a neighbours car showroom to see if i could see anything suitable to no avail, so I thought why no give the Porsche ones a try.

So I nicked one from a stock car & tried to fit it to my Leon. It did fit with a little persuasion & warming up the scuttle panel, its snug & thats what keeps it in place. Refitted to the car & they worked but were high as previously mentioned. So as its not visible I just put a spacer in the back to make them aim a little lower.

The heating side is harder, you need to get a feed from the back of the heated rear window switch & run it to the jets with an in-line 7.5 amp fuse.

Photos won't really help unless I take the scuttle back off which I won't have time to this week.

Cheers.

I'm actually looking into the Pug 307 jets, as they are fan type, and may fit better (even tho they are bonet mounted on the Pug.

Will let you all know how it turns out.
