today i serviced car new fuel filter air filter oil filter oil plugs and went to clean egr valve out and i broke off the plastic connector which runs from thermostat to coolant bottle so i got to get new one from seat its on order and will be with me wed so that really made me mad i then had a guy from garage to fit new waterpump timeing belt kit so i just have to wait until thermostat housing arives wed then and add new antifreeze and clean egr valve before he fits new part what coulour and amount of coolant is needed for this engine thanks

You need to use the G12 which, is the pink coolant. About a litre should normally do it. The thermostat housings themselves are prone to cracking so I wouldnt worry too much.

They should do or you could try AVS car parts online, think they are around £6 from them.
