Been mentioned alot
There are 4WD ones in Europe with LHD (obviously) or could cut and shut the floor pan from a S3 or 4 motion Golf

I'd imagine its possible, coming from a Vauxhall background I've seen various astras (mk1, mk3) that have been converted to 4wd using Calibra Turbo 4x4 running gear and rear floor pan

I was contmplating doing this myself a little while back.
From what i can gather, its not worth doing unless your lumps putting out over 350bhp.
Otherwise the gearbox drag and extra weight take too big a toll on your power/weight ratio.
I wont rule it out totally, but ive got a long way to go before my LCR is putting out that sort of power!

find a trashed golf 4motion and have the vr6 (204bhp i think) stage one is about 220 and work on that... and then you've got everything you need to 4wd it. i.e. suspension, etc etc etc

did anybody not think of the obvious??

get a Golf V6 4motion and then all you have to do is spend about £20 on 'seat' and 'leon' badges and put them on the boot, easy peasy:lol:

ok, it may not look like a leon but some chavs put 'v-tec' badges on 1.2 clios so it must be what the badge says:whistle:
