Dont forget it depends on job title, where you keep it, milage ect ect......

I changed my job from a sales rep to a account manager and my insurance came doen by £35...i know its not a massive saving but it helps. I didnt even use the car for work it was just a job title.

I think buying a car like that of that age you have got to expect that at some point someone has thrashed the living sh$t out of it!

Occasionally you do, my car was owned for the first ten years of its life by a middle aged lady who had it registered as her business car for some tax reason and hardly used it. The value of the car was wrote off into the business over so many years

you dont know anything about it, my gti hasnt seen a hard life, owned by 1 family from new minus me, who uses it once every 2 weeks to go to and from football practice, i have a van mid week.
