I have no doubt they exist, as there are parts listed for it. But I thought the V5's were rare, the 150 TDi's are like rockin horse poop! Shame really, I bet the 150 TDi's are quicker than the V5's, either as standard or with a mild remap.

the 150s are pretty rapid like, mine was putting out 158 as standard before the map, now its up to 189, with 292lbft torque. i could have had more torque but i got him to peg it back because i wanted to preserve the clutch. despite this its started slipping when peak torque comes in now :(

dont really know much about the v5's. so cant join in on the convo :p
anyone know if a 110 can be remapped? and if so.. to what break?

yeah the 110s can be mapped i had a 110 before my 150, which id done everything to but map, but you should see about 138-145bhp and around 230lb/ft of torque. all just depends on where you go and whether you get a live map or a generic

Don't get a diesel if you're looking for BHP, they will ALWAYS lose to a petrol car. Litre for litre, the petrol car will be able to rev higher and produce more BHP. What you should be looking at are the absolutely massive torque figures that are possible, that's where a diesel will come out on top.

BHP is pretty meaningless anyway, it's a calculation of torque multiplied by revs and divided by 5250.
