Just recieved my nomad A pillar this morning, and ye're right, dont like the look of all this velcro stuff at all, should have loads of fun on saturday!!!

it might be an idea to removed the clips from the old pillar and glue them into position on the nomad pillar then you car clip it on without and hassle

How easy is it go get the original A pillar off? need to do it myself on Sat!!!

Give the old pillar a yank towards the passenger side of the car. I ended up putting a screw in the top of my pillar as the velcro kept giving up so got smacked in the face with it whilst driving. LOL

Excellent, I can use my usual brute force/ignorance method then! so much easier than finesse!!

Its really easy, you mite cringe while doing it but u'll do not harm, just grab the thing and pull at it directly towards the passenger side.

I am on my second pillar (single and now a double), both of mine have been stuck up with velcro and I have never had a problem with them falling off. Only thing I would say is that you glue the velcro the pillar. Other than that it should be fine.

If in doubt, use Windscreen bond like i did

Well I fitted my a pillar with the velcro with no problems and didn't use black magic or anything else.
Hasn't moved an inch since I did it and I didn't even use all the velcro.
