Right, car is running really really lumpy, cant accelerate, sounds like a cylinder not firing (although i'm pritty sure its not that) ive tried changing the coil packs before I even got a chance to plug it in...

Ive plugged the car into VAG COM and got this:

17953 - Throttle Valve Controller: Malfunction
P1545 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30: Voltage too Low (because I have disconnected battery)
P1602 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

17976 - Throttle Actuator (J338): Mechanical Failure
P1568 - 35-00 --

16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (FIXED: This isnt appearing any more, I changed the MAF)
PO102 - 35 -00 --- Intermitent

What is the Throttle Valve Controller / Actuator... where is it located?

Is it a sensor thats gone or has this unit completely failed.. as there are a few sensors around this... that I have no idea what they do...
Looks like I'm getting some oil coming thru from turbo too, so probably seals are going... would that cause the problem? I don't get any smoke out the back...

Thanks in advance!!!

oil in manifold thats oki dont worrie about that and you cant tell if the tb is faulty as its all electrics inside it! try the big black connector block near the tb! take it apart and check the connections due to the fact i thought mine was broken but water got in the connections, if it is the tb i got a spare one
