I think there's been worse crashes there sadly. There's been a few cars into that area to the left of the grandstands at Club Chicane. There was an F3 driver killed there in the early 90s, might have been at that area by Club as well.
How dusty were those carparks at Thruxton? I decided to hang back a bit and let some of the traffic out before going to the car. By the time I did go, it was sitting on it's own and covered in that thick clay-type dust. Couldn't see a thing when I got inside.
