Ticking noise when running

Hi all,

So I have this problem that a ticking noise is coming from my engine bay

It happens all the time short journeys or long journeys any ideas in the video I put it is the fast high pitched ticking

These engines are very tappety it's to do with the injectors.

Can do you a video of my exact engine if you like in a few days.

Yeah, I don't hear anything out of the ordinary. Sounds like injectors. For some reason, when I had the LOBA fuel pump fitted, mine became even louder I could hear them over the radio. But just ignore it now.

Fair enough il not worry about it, I've not had the car long so every noise scares me lol

Don't know much about this all that much. These cars do make various sounds. There do seem to be two sources. One of them could be your fan belt. Again nothing major to worry about.

Hi I have the same on my engine did you ever find out what it was as mine has only done 39,000 and it really does not sound right

UPDATE - the noise is from the fuel purge valve, its £60 for a replacement.
