hi the small vac unit situated next to the expantion bottle and power steering res seems to tick most of the time its a leon cupra 2003

Yep this is pretty standard mate, carbon canister, deals with fumes from the petrol tank IIRC.

ticking time bomb mate! its the car critisizing you leaving it to tick over,


perfectly normal, it'll clear once you give it revs then it'll re appear a few seconds back at idle tickover,

If you undo the petrol cap and let the pressure out it will stop ticking
