Time for rimming the S3

Ever since picking up the S3 I have always looked at the OEM rims with some disdain. They are murderous to clean, look soft edged and pretty average for an 'S' car, and at 18 measly inches they somehow fail to fill the arches with the proper attitude.

Yesterday I took the plunge and popped on some OEM style rimmage to spruce the old girl up for the remains of the summer. I'd wanted BBS's but to be frank I didn't want the price tag for this fairly temporary mod. As you'd expect, the RS4 rims did the trick (for me) as they look OE, and here she is sporting shiney new 235/35/19's:

Only problem is now she needs lowering

It never ends!

Look really well - what did a set of those cost if you don't mind me asking?

Lowering it will improve the looks no end in my opinion. With those wide 235's not sure if you'll get any scuffing problems but if you're going 30mm you may well be ok.

having real bad issues with pics linking lately.

If I use my Mac to embed a picture set in my .Mac library it rarely works for long. Lasts about half a day and then it vanishes.

For web based photos I started planting them in Google Picasa and for a while that worked too.

Now those images are starting to cause issues too.

Technology can bite.

Here is a link to the library: http://picasaweb.google.com/warrencox5/S3Refresh2009#

Cost, just under a grand.
