ok i had a really bad knock in the engine area on my fr tdi and also the wet window problem. i took it to my nearst dealer which is pinchbeck in middel wallop in hampshire. They had my car in a few times and could find no faults whatsoever. After a few days i was still getting the knocking noise and wet windows so i took it back and they sais they would need it for a few days. 2 days later i get the car back and still no faults found and to add to my anger they had scratched the car while cleaning it (which i told them not to do) After a big row with them i managed to get the scratches fixed.

I decided to take the car to a dealer in newbury berkshire about the knocking and wet windows. They wanted the car for 2 days which i was ok with. i got a phone call the day i dropped it off saying that the clutch was fu**ed and that was causing the knocking and the wet windows problem was fixed. all done on warrenty. so why the fu*k couldnt pinchbecks find the faults or is it that they just couldn't be assed to do the jobs.

So please take my advice people that are using or are thinking about using pinchbecks in wallop.....STAY WELL CLEAR!!!!!!!!!

Ha. I bought my Leon from there 4 years ago:-o. I remember they promised (verbally!) to let me know when a new glove box lid would be ready, as the current one had a few scratches accross it! Did I ever get that call......no.

i got my ibiza from a guy and mine was from pinckbeak in the first place must be somthing to do with them because ive got a couple of minor probs with mine like the noisy roof lineing how anoying...

whenever handing the car over to a dealer or anyone doing work on the car, i always make them do a body and inside check. Dealers are meant to do this anyway, but most do not unless you ask.
go around the car with them and list any damage/chips the car has. when you pick it up, if there is anything new they cant dispute it!
