Afternoon guys

First post - Last week I purchased a 2010 Seat leon 1.4 TDI Sport.

I presume this will be the facelift version as it is 2010?

Does anyone know if this model will be a timing chain or Belt?

There is no record of a timing belt change, but did read they were a chain up to a certain point. Although have not found a clear date when it changed over.

Can any one shed any light?

Apologies for sounding thick, im new to the Seat world

Thank you

Samo

Hey Samo, yes your car will be a facelift version.
If you can find the engine code that would probably help - if you look in the service book on under the boot carpet there is usually a big sticker with a load of codes on it, you're looking for a 3 or 4 letter code in big letters not quite half way down
