Got my Black FR Tinted yesterday looks very similar to yours!
They really look nice tinted i must admit.
I went for 50s on front 15s on the back (15 as in lets 15% light through)

Very good got mine done at tint studio in sheffield. I got it at discount but got a very professional finish plus a free valet and car wash. Car looked mint until it started raining today!

Question, im not bothered like but after getting my car back after being tinted washed and valeted i noticed my battery had been disconnected as radio was asking for the code. Just wondered if they do this to stop alarm going off with windows being down or something?? Was your battery disconnected whilst having your windows tinted?

Im not bothered or worried at all they did reconnect it! Just curious as to the reason.

should be no reason to disconnect the battery, i used to tint cars and we never ever opened the bonnet on any of the cars and disconnected the battery unless we were doing electrical work on the car aswell and even then we never really disconnected the battery.

maybe they took it out and put it in another car cause its battery was dead.

my stereo is standard! plus the ibiza has deadlocks so i'm guessing would be pretty difficult to get into the car ??

I know what you mean tho, 50quid a go when they got pulled over and fined...they asked the question tho, if i remove the front tints, will this stop happening? the answer was yes, as they are too dark at the moment!

barstewards they are! :censored:

getting into a car with dead locks is easy! smash the window or bend window frame out

I once helped a guy in my street who had locked his keys in his VW Jetta 2004

the keys could be seen sat on the drivers seat so with his permission we bent the window frame out enough to hook the keys with a coat hanger and pull them through the gap...........flip key BTW so quite a large gap needed

when we got the door open and bent the window frame back you would never know what had bean done, no paint cracks, no creasing or rippling

he was quite happy

it made me think about car security in a different way

i work in (insurance)accident repair and unfortunaly theft and vadalism is alot of our work and window frames are so easily bent as also prooved in your story there is always a way round securty and alarms arent enough as if some1 saw an alarm going of and a suspicous person near it most people wouldnt bat an eyelid! alot of handles on cars can also be removed outside the car where lock rods ect can be accesed throu its mad!

yeah thats a point the jetta's alarm never went off when we bent the window frame

if it was an old jetta it wouldnt have 1 but it seriously wouldnt suprise me if alarm didnt go off and it did have 1! the only alarms that are ne use are cliffords and frankly there just a pain in the arse!
