Yeah they designed the car to be fitted with 16" rims the 18"s were optional (every where but here in the UK) and your beloved sticker does not tell you tyre size!

We get duff info from the dealers all the time, if the sticker said 456 psi would you put that in? Dont beleive everything you read.:)

Bang In The Middle.
well just to rekindle a old thread.......

after my service at APS in Brackley they inflated my tyres to 36psi from the 33 i had previously.
They said its fine and i do notice better damping/smooth
I'm sure my Goodyear F1s can take this as they are XL rated.

..............And the 225/40/18, 29 front and 26 rear.

This is what it says on my petrol flap, but have to say I followed this and the inner and outer of both my fronts wore through quite quickly. Since this I've put 35 in a set and they wore in the middle too quickly. i now have 32 in them and it seems to be waring equally

Theres a sticker on the petrol flap that states 33 PSI front and rear
The central wear is obviously no down to excessive pressure if your below the stated recommended running pressure.
What tyres are you using? Pirellis by any chance?

:DPIRELLI'S oh yeah!!!!!!:D

I just put in whats on the fuel door 2.3 bar all round i get good pirelli tyre wear;)
