anyone had trouble with rear brake calipers not retracting when replacing pads had to strip both down only one working properly still sticky. (just wondered if it was a fault on this model)
Mines a Tolly V5, no probs with mine, but it's just one of them things with rear brake caliper cars, all comes down , perished rubbers, letting water in, brakes not used alot and so on, don't think its a common problem
ok thanks well rubbers were fine and cylinders and piston were clean just weird how both have gone the same. any how gunna cost me 75 quid each for new ones
You need a special wind backtool that winds the pistons back into the caliper rather than just pushing the piston back in like the front brakes. This could be your problem.
Hi there.
Does anyone know where i can order rear caliper rebuild kits from? One of mine wont go back in, despite 5 minutes of Effing and Jeffing, and winding like a crazed clockmaker...
I wanna get it apart, but not sure where to order the rebuild kit online... Can anyone help?
Cheers, Dan
