Toledo rear spoiler

Anyone know of any Toledo boot spoilers for sale in silver.
Just bought myself a 150 Sport and think it needs a spoiler!
Would prefer the "2 leg" on as opposed to the 3 leg!

Hi

there was a discussion on here awhile ago -maybe do a search?,about the few new spoilers still in the dealer network, mabe still there, seem to remember they were a resonable price but then you have to get em painted, chances of a second hand in right colour are slim,as so few cars had them in the first place..
But you are right they do make a real difference despite not being very big, fortunatly my Tdi Sport came with one:D

I'm in no panic for one, and don't want to go to the expense of getting one painted!

Spec of the Toledos confuses me, had an 04 S 110bhp before which had the spoiler, cruise control, armrest, and then get the Sport which was probably the top of the range and it has none of them!!

"Sport" fit is different to S, and SE is different to both. Cruise control and armrest are not "sport" accessories, and the spoiler will have been an optional extra or aftermarket fit on your S. The Sport has stiffer suspension, sits 15mm lower and has a bigger front ARB and a rear ARB too, compared to the S. Much better than an armrest, or at least I think so :) My 04 150 Sport doesn't have a spoiler, and I don't think any UK Toledos had a spoiler as standard.

The top of the Toledo II range was the V5, which came with electric leather seats, sat nav, CD changer, cruise, and Uncle Tom Cobbley and all, and all. Very nice cars, if a little thirsty.

Totally agree with Muttley,on the spec's when the 2 sport models (petrol & Diesel) were introduced the price was about 3k less than the V5 but they did lose quite a bit of kit in the process incl the built in sat nav, rear blinds, elec seats, armrest, auto wipers, auto dim dip mirrors etc etc...
Having had a v5 and gone to Tdi sport i can live without most of it but i do miss my armrest, and so must others when you see how much they go for on Ebay!
Oh and the v5 howl,-that i DO miss

Had an armrest fitted to it within hours of getting it home, really couldn't be without it! Cruise control is next!

I've had 5 Toledos now and only one hadn't got the spoiler, which is why I was wondering why the Sport hasn't got one!

My mates 99 Toledo V5 didn't come with a spoiler, but my 51 plate did. Then again, I've seen 51 plate V5's on Ebay without, and 99 V5's with!!

I'm fairly sure my car used to be an ex-demonstrator, so I'm not surprised that it got all the options.

If you dont mind me asking, where did you get the armrest,? the genuine ones are hard to find and seem to involve changing the centre console as well?? and not sure about the aftermarket ones on Ebay etc?

Cruise seems reasonable easy to fit let us know how you get on as i could prob be tempted as well, kit seems to be £80 ish and poss a bit of vag-com to activate?

Got the armrest out of a local breakers. You don't need the centre console, I just cut the bottom out of the small tray between the handbrake and rear ashtray. That allows the bracket up through. Simple enough to fit!

I found the armrest got in the way when changing gear and seriously obstructed the handbrake lever. It would be less in the way for left-hand drive cars, but the handbrake lever is in the same place on both lhd and rhd cars. The armrest ended up always in the upright position, between the seat backs.

I don't mind mine to be honest, it's always down even when I use the handbrake. Then again, the handbrake is much lighter than other cars I've driven, so I can lift it up with my fingertips. My Nova handbrake used to need two hands!

Ok,managed to find a second hand armrest, only 1 prob the lid is beige...,easy enough to unclip the lid,am thinking of recovering to suit my Tdi sports interior, has anyone done this as i cant seem to find a way to remove the cover from the lid, assuming its glued on?,doing a search past posts seem to mention Stealers could supply seperate lids but doubt still available now? and were £50+ a few years ago

Cheers
