TomTom air vent mount

I'm looking at getting a TomTom satnav (Start 25 Europe) and I want to be able to mount it securely and without fuss somewhere on the dashboard. Does anyone use or know if the air vent mount kit will work on the Mk5 Ibiza round air vents? From the pictures it's not clear how it attaches.

Thanks :)

If it uses the round suction mount that the TomTom One does, it mounts quite nicely on the radio display planel (assuming you've not changed your headunit)

If you have a TomTom with advanced lane guidance then you really need to be able to see it as well as listen to the spoken directions. That being the case I'd try to get it up on top of the dashboard if you can so that you can see without taking your eyes off the road.

Thanks for all your replies. I tried to use a sucker mount on the radio fascia with my HTC phone but it kept falling off. I think the HTC screen is too small anyway and as has been said it is a bit dangerous looking down at the satnav too. I think the windscreen is too far away for a satnav hence I was looking at vent mounts as they are quite high up and that led me on to the TomTom website.

I like the look of the Brodit holders - I'll do some more research.

Thanks!

I.tend to stick my satnav either just under the rear view mirror, or in the top right hand corner. I find this way it is too far away :)
As for the holder I don't know lol
